Dr. Chithalen
Dr. Chithalen grew up in the Hamilton area attending Ancaster High and Vocational School in Ancaster. After graduating with honours in 1986, Dr Chithalen attended McMaster Univesity in Hamilton, and in 1990 received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.
From there he went to Toronto to study in the field of Dentistry and is a 1994 graduate of University of Toronto, with the Degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. After graduation from U of T, Dr. Chithalen spent one year at the Hamilton General Hospital as a Dental Resident and in 1995 began working as an associate with his father, Dr.J.F. Chithalen at 118 Stinson St. After his father's retirement in 1997, Dr. E.J. Chithalen took over the full time operation of the clinic on Stinson St., and now offers appointments five days a week.
Dr. Chithalen has recently completed a course in Implant Placement and is currently studying the Restorative Phases of Implantology. He is a member of the Ontario Dental Assoc'n, the Canadian Dental Assoc'n, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, the Hamilton Dental Academy, and the Academy of Sports Dentistry. He is one of two team dentists for the McMaster Marauders varsity football squad and the Hamilton Bulldogs hockey team of the AHL.
Extensive renovations of the practice were undertaken during the fall of 2001, with landscape impovements finished in the spring of 2002. Dr. Chithalen and his knowledgeable, courteous staff, invite you to see for yourself why we "look forward to your smile"!

Lori: Dr. Chithalen’s Chairside Dental Assistant
I have 12 years experience as a Dental Assistant, 3 ½ of those years, I have spent at EJC Dentistry.
Throughout my 12 years, I have worked in many dental areas gaining experience in patient care and reception skills.
While working for Dr. Chithalen, I have attended many continuation education seminars to keep up with new techniques, material and products so that we can provide our patients with great dental care.
Our up-to-date dental equipment and knowledge helps us work in a superior and efficient manner. We care about our patients’ dental health and welcome new patients to our office.

Sarah: Office Float Dental Assistant / Reception
Recently graduated from the Dental Office and Chairside Assistant program at Everest College “2008”, I’m enjoying working in the dental field. You will see me around the office either at the front desk or taking your x-rays with our state-of-the-art Digital X-ray system.
I am a sport enthusiast and enjoy the fact that Dr. Jan is the Official Dentist for the Hamilton Bulldogs, The Toronto Rock Lacrosse and consults with McMaster Marauder Athletics.

Hello, I am the Receptionist at EJC Dentistry. I graduated from the dental assisting program at Niagara College in 1974 and started working for the Chithalen Dental Practice in 1980.
I am the familiar face that greets you at the front desk and hope you will feel comfortable sharing both the positive and not-as-positive dental experiences so that we may improve our service for our patients comfort.

I have over 8 years experience in the dental field as a receptionist and treatment coordinator and over 15 years in customer service. Jenn: Dental Hygienist
I graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Canadore College in May of 2000.
I make the daily trip to Hamilton from my home in Brantford, where I was born and raised.
I have been working with Dr. C for 5 years now and enjoy both the many great patients I see every day as well as the modern equipment this office provides.
I am available to see patients until 7 pm, 4 days a week to help accommodate your scheduling needs.
I look forward to seeing you when you come in for your dental cleaning. |

Hi! I am Jodie. I have had the pleasure of working with the team at EJC Dentistry since 2001. I graduated from the
Dental Hygiene program at Durham College in 2000. From the moment I cleaned my first tooth, I knew I had found my
passion. Although my three daughters keep me busy, I do my best to continue to learn and grow with an ever changing and
exciting industry. I look forward to seeing you at your next hygiene appointment - and remember "may the floss be with
